Training

Following is an explanation and schedule of programming training classes available from Hurco North America for 2021.

  • Hurco WinMax® Mill Programming –This training class covers Conversational programming for 3 axis machines and basic operation of the control.  Students are guided through a course of programming parts from basic to more complex.
  • Lathe Programming – This training class covers Conversational programming and basic operation of the control for lathes.  Students are guided through a course of programming parts from basic to more complex. The first two days of the course cover 2 axis lathes, an optional third day covers live tool programming and an optional 4th day covers sub-spindle operations.
  • Hurco 5-Axis Programming – This 2-day course covers the Hurco WinMax 5-axis Machining Center Control. Students in this course must have either taken the Hurco WinMax® Mill Programming course or have extensive experience running a Hurco WinMax 3-axis Machine.
  • Mill and Lathe Operator Training – This training class will focus on operator training for those that will primarily be utilizing g-code programs. The class will cover file management, part and tool setup, edits to part programs, verification, as well as basic operating functions and features. Although some g-codes will be discussed in the edits portion this is not a “learn g-code class” so some g code knowledge is helpful. Conversational users who need an operator (non-programmer) trained can utilize this class as well. If the conversational programming class is taken this class is not necessary as everything in the class is covered in the programming class.
  • Custom Training – This training is scheduled on an as-needed basis and consists of training specific to the particular customer's needs. The length and cost of the training will be determined based on how much material the customer wants to cover. Please call to discuss your needs.
  • Onsite Training – Any of these classes can also be conducted at your facility. Please see the "At Your Facility" pricing below.
  • Online Training – Any of the above classes can be conducted in a online training session, please use contact below for details and to get your online training session scheduled with one of our Application Engineers.
